10. They're certainly not any better looking, even though they think so.
9. They probably coined the phrase "metrosexual."
8. They believe that forgoing botox means not caring about how you look.
7. They believe that having money means you should buy more stuff (crap), not provide for your future or your family. The concept of old money doesn't exist to them, and never will.
6. They think watching ballets makes them more cultured. Nevermind that doing labor on a farm with people from all over provoides plenty of culture.
5. While David Letterman is fairly comical, most of them just plain aren't.
4. They don't have cars. They can't even say "car" correctly.

Okay, somebody has real issues with some of the most successful people in America. It takes skill to live in New York City. And where are you from, Boston? I image you are also a tree-hugging environmentalist liberal.
First, you should know this was spawned from limited experiences I have had with people from New York and similar locales. I don't like to generalize or stereotype, but this is one area where it's just too easy.
Well, let's see - you have everything wrong. I have no problem with successful people regardless of their location; I have a problem with people from New York and other big cities who think they're hot stuff for that sole reason. I realize it takes "skill" to live in places like NY, but it also takes a certain skill to live elsewhere. No I'm not from Boston - way off, in fact. No I'm not a tree hugger - they drive me bonkers with their hypocracy. No I'm not an environmentalist - for the same reason, although I try to be somewhat responsible. No I'm not a liberal, or a right winger for that fact - partisanship is meaningless. Any other theories?
